Thank the Gods that you have finally arrived! I have been waiting for you. As time grows short and the hour grows late I must go – the Muse is calling and I must abide before the sun sets and the darkness brings with it yet another mystery. I must be ready with quill and ink in hand, parchment prepared before I miss a single thing - the Muse would not be a-muse-d (get it? Hee hee!)

But before I go, my friends, I must be sure you are ready and that you have brought with you the proper tools to do the job – Your IMAGINATION. If you forgot it at the last outpost, then please turn back before you come too far. It may be too dangerous a trip. But…if you have this most important tool, then please, press on.

There are a few things you need to know…

....first, is that you have arrived at a very special place – so special, in fact, that it does not really exist…and yet…here you are! Here in this nexus of mine, you will find information about me and all that I am…of my origins, travels and experiences that have made me the “who” in my own story. You will learn of the many different adventures that I have been fortunate and unfortunate (as you will see) to witness – you must know that I am not the important one here, but just the humble observer who the Muse has allowed to witness from a distance and experience and scribe these wondrous and magical events.

In the Land of Children you will discover many adventures. Don’t let the word children fool you, for one would associate such words and feelings as nice, kind, special or beautiful – unfortunately it is not always so. Some things that have been shown to me would be enough to chill your bones and cause your skin to flourish with goose bump with the question “why?” falling from your quivering lips.

You will find such troubled children as Adryan in Adryan’s Story. He is a dark skinned boy who is brought into a world of turmoil and war by his long-lost teddy bear. He is there by request of The Captain; a seemingly insane crusader who needs Adryan’s dead (yes…I said ‘dead’) body to get revenge on and capture the malevolent lightening that had killed his family.

You will also discover Joey and Louise Mysteries. These third graders have been submersed into a world of danger and mystery. Follow their adventures through The Mystery of the Hidden Map, The Case of the Secret Cove, The Mystery of the Stained Glass Window and many more.

In Four Cousin Mysteries – DOORS, Damian is a 6th grader whose parents have taken him and his family away from the city and most devastatingly to Damian, his best friends, which happen to be his three cousins; Christopher, Alex and Matthew. His parents have bought an old spooky house in the country – STOP! – I know what you’re thinking “spooky house” – yeah…right…not another one! Yawn! But wait, my friends. Tread carefully here. You haven’t experienced spooky – ghostly, icy, trembling, loosing breath, evil clown face scary. Damian’s world is turned upside down when they discover a secret passageway and a world unlike anything he has ever seen. His sister is kidnapped and he and his crew have to risk life and death to save her…only…do they? His world is filled with ancient church ruins, a cemetery and even a castle turret along a coastal rocky beach. If you dare, follow him, his family and friends on their journey as they uncover the hidden secrets of the DOORS.

You will meet Sally in Unpopular Sally and the Secret Surprise, whose entire grade 6 class hates and makes fun of her. They tease her, pull her hair and even throw things at her until one day she decides to share a very special, very curious, very unbelievable secret and then everything changes. Sometimes, I feel cursed that I have to be witness to these events – but as I’ve said, when the Muse beckons – I MUST abide.

Some adventures you will notice I have placed in the “Adult” section. There you will find books and concepts…glimpses of episodes…of what the Muse allows me to see.

In Black, you will discover one reality of how the we and the world came to be. How the creator (much different than you would EVER expect) has finally woken up – and remembered – remembered its purpose which was (regretful to say), to END. Which means, the end of us all!

In The House That Was, a small town wakes one summer morning to discover the house that had an unspeakable history – had once been conquered and re-written as more palatable in the town’s history – is being rebuilt – no not rebuilt but being restored to its once horrible state. No one knows why, who or how. No sold sign, no deals, no workers, no trucks, no materials and yet, day by day the house grows closer and closer to completion (and a repeat of the terrible events that the past has kept hidden?).

One last place to visit – a place where you will discover a style of artwork I have termed Native Expressionism. This is a visual way I can give to you emotion, awareness, passion…an energy of line and flow and a mix of original style and ancient form. Reminiscent of the North-West Coast Haida, my work is founded within the innate human questions we all share. I weave nature and struggle around these mysteries to produce original watercolours that invite multiple interpretations.

Well…I must go now and let you discover on your own…that is, after all why you are here. Please keep safe while I am gone.

Until I return.
